Before the 2015 model leaves dealer lots and is replaced by a refreshed version, Mitsubishi decided to give the current Mitsubishi Mirage a bit of an update to its audio system. Available now is the Mirage Rockford Fosgate edition, a version of the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage that comes standard with a Rockford Fosgate audio system.

The new system includes the Rockford Fosgate brand 300-watt ecoPunch sound system, plus Bluetooth with wireless streaming and steering audio controls. In addition to the audio system update, the new version of the Mirage will sport cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels, and special badging. A sound system of this quality is typically unavailable in vehicles of the Mirage’s segment.

The Mirage Rockford Fosgate edition will be available for a base sticker price of $14,945, which is only $650 more than the similar Mirage ES trim level, or $1,950 more than the basic entry-level 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage.
