IHS Automotive hands out an annual award for highest model loyalty in various categories, using information such as when a household returns a vehicle to a dealership and purchases or leases another vehicle of the same make and model. For the 2015 model year, the Mitsubishi Mirage‘s model loyalty was recognized as the highest Model Loyalty in the Non-Luxury Traditional Sub-Compact segment.
The Mitsubishi Mirage has now won IHS Automotive recognition for highest model loyalty two years in a row. For the past model year, the Mirage has broken records after experiencing sales growth of 30 percent over the past year. Don Swearingen, executive vice president of Mitsubishi Motors North America, attributes the success of the Mirage and the loyalty of its consumer base to the vehicle’s affordability, class-leading efficiency, and the excellent vehicle and powertrain warranty.
For the 2017 model year, the Mitsubishi Mirage is all-new, sporting a redesigned exterior, more refined performance, and the integration of in-demand smartphone connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Mirage model loyalty is a result of the brand’s continuous commitment to bringing their customers quality products.
