Mitsubishi has big plans for the future, including a new compact crossover. This new model is headed to the Geneva Auto Show in March, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the next model year. Rumor has it that this newmodel may look a lot like the XR-PHEV, a hybrid vehicle that first appeared back in 2013. Read on to learn more about future Mitsubishi models.

According to Car and Driver, Mitsubishi has decided to come out with a new crossover to fit between the Outlander and Outlander Sport. This new model will likely be a compact crossover, and it is set to have alternative-fuel options in addition to a standard powertrain.

What will the model look like? There’s little information about the new Mitsubishi crossover, except for a few crucial details. First, it was engineered in-house, so you can expect iconic styling and high quality, as well as innovative features. It will also have more power than the Outlander and Outlander Sport, and the design will feature a diamond shield grille.

The new crossover is also replacing the Lancer compact sedan. Although some are sad to see this version of the Lancer go, Mitsubishi is aiming to please a wider range of consumers with the new crossover on the way. We can’t wait to see this model at the Geneva show in March.
