Mitsubishi Motors North America has experienced eight months in a row of sales increases in comparison to the numbers recorded last year during the same time period. For Mitsubishi October sales, the company enjoyed a whopping 30.5 percent increase over sales from October 2013.

Leading the brand as its best-selling model is the Outlander Sport. With 2,468 units sold, this is the best October ever recorded for the Outlander Sport. Year-to-date, the compact crossover has seen a 24.8 percent growth in total sales.

When you look at the efficiency of the Mitsubishi Mirage sedan – 44 mpg highway makes it the most fuel efficient gasoline-powered non-hybrid vehicle in America – it’s no surprise that the compact sporty hatchback has surpassed 1,000 vehicles sold every month.

In addition, Mitsubishi’s Outlander and Lancer models reported double-digit year-to-date sales increases, assisting the brand’s overall growth.

“The Outlander Sport has been leading the way for the brand in 2014 and Outlander has steadily increased compared to last year,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president for Mitsubishi Motors North America. “But our sedans are also doing well with consistently strong Mirage sales and Lancer with a strong showing in October.”

Whether you were able to keep track of all those numbers and percentages or not, it’s safe to say we at El Cajon Mitsubishi are very pleased with this year’s Mitsubishi October sales and look forward to a record-breaking November!
