Mitsubishi has finally confirmed rumors of the Mitsubishi Mirage coming to the US, after months of speculation. The company has sold over 14,000 units of the vehicle, a higher amount than initially predicted, likely fueling the decision to move the Mitsubishi Mirage westward.
The car has been sold as the Mitsubishi Attrage in Asian markets, where it has sold spectacularly. Though we know the vehicle is now heading to the US, Mitsubishi Motors North America’s executive vice president Don Swearingen doesn’t have a specific date, simply stating it should arrive “within a year or two.”
The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage currently sells for $12,995 and sports a list of color options, including infrared, sapphire blue, kiwi green, and plasma purple. This fuel-efficient vehicle gets 44 mpg on the highway and seats five people.
