While top-quality products are extremely important to the success of an automotive company, the people behind the cars are just as crucial. Recently Forbes named Mitsubishi as one of the Best Employers of 2018. Since it takes a great team to produce a great car, the award comes as no surprise, as new innovations from Mitsubishi, including the new Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross, could only come from an expert team who love the work they do.
Forbes compiles its Best Employers list annually with the help of online research firm Statista. In creating this year’s list, Forbes consulted poll information gathered from 30,000 employees. Once all of the data was crunched, Mitsubishi was ranked #11 in the automotive category, and #291 overall, which is an impressive ranking when we consider the sheer number of companies in the running.
“Mitsubishi prides itself,” Fred Diaz, Mitsubishi Motors North America president and CEO, said “on the passionate and dedicated employees who are the driving force behind our brands momentum.” Much of Mitsubishi’s current momentum is thanks to new and exciting vehicles, including the 2018 Outlander PHEV SUV and the innovative 2018 Eclipse Cross crossover. Both vehicles respond to a demand for uniquely styled, fuel-efficient, and flexible vehicle’s crafted to navigate the contemporary world.
