Mitsubishi Motors is reporting their ninth month in a row of consistent sales growth, with November US sales up by 7.6 percent. This is in the midst of an excellent year for the automotive industry, which has seen significant sales increases compared to previous, difficult years.
Reportedly, Mitsubishi sold 6,534 units in November, a large improvement from the 6,071 that they sold in November of last year. It was the Outlander Sport that led the charge in the excellent Mitsubishi November sales, selling 2,679 units (a 30.1 percent increase from the previous year.)
Mitsubishi Motors North America executive vice president Don Swearingen was happy to hear the news. “We’ve seen nine consecutive months of year-over-year increases, with the Outlander Sport and the Mirage leading the way,” Swearingen said, adding, “We’ve also had a strong November for our Outlander and Lancer and are on track to continue this momentum through the end of the year.”
We at El Cajon Mitsubishi are thrilled to hear the good news – yet not particularly surprised. Head on down to our dealership to check out a Mitsubishi model yourself, and you’ll understand just why they’ve been selling so well.
