Shopping for a new Mitsubishi? You may have noticed that several models come with something called “Mitsubishi CONNECT,” but not everyone knows what that refers to. For those who don’t know, Mitsubishi CONNECT is a series of connected technologies (hence the name), such as smartphone connectivity, Wi-Fi, voice command, and more. In short, the Mitsubishi CONNECT technology is a state-of-the-art infotainment system.
According to Mitsubishi, one of the major systems you can access through CONNECT is the smartphone link. You can conveniently connect to your Android or Apple smartphone to access apps, playlists, or audible text messaging. You can also use the in-vehicle voice-recognition system to access and control your phone while keeping your hands on the wheel.
There are also Safeguard and Remote services through CONNECT. You can connect with a variety of service centers to get access to SOS Emergency Assistance, Roadside Assistance, or Information Assistance. There’s also an alarm notification feature to let you know your car alarm is on, while a mileage tracker makes it easy to keep track of driving patterns and helps to calculate real-world gas mileage.
There are a variety of apps that you can use through CONNECT as well. For instance, you can use TuneIn to listen to all of your favorite radio stations. There’s also Sticher and Spotify compatibility, Threema, Amazon Music, and EV support for those with EV models.
To benefit from Mitsubishi CONNECT technology, you’ll need a Mitsubishi. Visit us at El Cajon Mitsubishi to check out our inventory.
