For many carmakers, making it in the American car market is an important part of their global plan. Over the past few years, Mitsubishi has been fighting to establish its brand in the US, and the Japanese carmaker’s time is finally here. As Mitsubishi continues to build sales momentum in America, it has decided to introduce a few new nameplates to round out its lineup.

Currently, the only information out there about the two new Mitsubishi models is that one will definitely be a sedan version of the Mitsubishi’s Mirage hatchback. The hatchback is one of the brand’s most popular models in the States, making it an obvious choice to introduce the sedan version that is currently sold as the Mirage G4 and Attrage in other markets.

The identity of the second model has not been confirmed yet, but many people believe it will be a plug-in hybrid version of the Outlander, an SUV that is sold in other markets as the Pajero.

While we wait to hear more about the two new Mitsubishi models, make sure you stop in to El Cajon Mitsubishi today to see the brand’s current lineup!
