Mitsubishi is well known in the industry for its incredible quality and affordability, as well as the brand’s ability to cater to its customer base. While Mitsubishi has in the past celebrated an annual Mitsubishi Owner’s Day, they’re planning something new for 2019. In lieu of an Owner’s Day, the brand has decided to shift gears for the future of Mitsubishi.
According to the automaker, Mitsubishi Owner’s Day has occurred since 2005. These events include things like car competitions, food trucks, DJs, raffles, and more. In 2017, for example — during the 100-year anniversary of the brand —over 4,000 Mitsubishis owners came together at the Cypress, California headquarters to celebrate MOD.
“With so much positive change happening at MMNA in the last couple of years, now seems like the right time to update and improve the way we engage with our owners, too,” Mitsubishi said in a press release. “Consequently, MMNA will not host our annual July MOD gathering or our traditional MOD East event in 2019. But fear not, we’re hatching a plan to make MOD even better and more accessible than ever, and we’ll share our plans just as soon as they’re ready.”
There’s still no word about what exactly the Mitsubishi brand is planning, but we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s in store for 2019. In the meantime, if you still need to become a Mitsubishi owner, we can help you with that at El Cajon Mitsubishi!
